Meet Yvette
I’m Yvette Kinkade, a children’s author with a real soft spot for curious minds, small wonders and big adventures.
I write picture books and middle-grade fiction inspired by the things children notice, question and often see before the rest of us do.
You’ll often find me keeping a hopeful eye out for a native bee or two and rarely far from a coffee that woos me.
I’m also partial to a day driving at the race track, which is about as far from quietly writing picture books as it sounds.
